We are starting 2020 with an inspirational talk from one of the most influential neuroscientists, Professor Trevor W. Robbins, who will talk about his greatest ideas, along with some biographical elements.
Trevor W. Robbins is the Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Cambridge and winner of the 2014 Brain Prize. He is also a Fellow of the British Psychological Society, the British Pharmacological Society, the Academy of Medical Sciences and the Royal Society. His interests range from cognitive and behavioural neuroscience to psychopharmacology, across species, and his lab applies methods from experimental psychology, functional brain imaging and pharmacology. His research mainly focuses on impulsive-compulsive syndromes, as exemplified by addiction and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).
