Dr Maura Malpetti is a fellow at the University of Cambridge. She works on Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) and frontotemporal lobar degeneration (FTLD) and has researched cognitive reserve and how it can be affected by things like bilingualism and gender. Her current research uses synaptic-PET, tau-PET and inflammation-PET to study the pathophysiology of FTLD.

Join us in-person at Medical Sciences AV Hill Lecture Theatre 131 to learn more about the mechanisms of AD and FTLD as well as how we use neuroimaging techniques like PET scans to the study neurodegenerative diseases!
