Our next journal club will be led by one of our committee members, María, on Wednesday 8th December at 6pm!

The discussion will be based on a recently published paper, that evaluates how a specific type of neurone regulates and links reproductive function and stress responses - please find the link for the paper in our social media bio.

Before attending, give the paper a quick read, since this will be an event where everyone will participate to interpret the data, evaluate the methods used, etc. We think this is a way of improving our critical thinking and develop interpersonal skills - journal clubs are a big part of academia! But don’t be intimidated by this, there are no right or wrong interpretations and it will be a learning process for all.

As always, don’t forget to book your ticket, and if you’re no longer able to attend, cancel it at least 2 hours before the event starts.
